CSRD reporting

The Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) is a European regulation that has been in force since 5 January 2023. It requires companies to report transparently on their sustainability policies and performance on an annual basis.

 

CSRD reporting, for whom?

From reference year 2024 (reporting in 2025): 
  • large public interest entities
  • with more than 500 employees
    • with a turnover of 34 million euros
    • and a profit of €17 million
From the 2026 reference year (reporting in 2026):
  • companies listed on the stock exchange,
  • large companies with more than 250 employees
    • with a turnover of 40 million euros
    • and a profit of €20 million
From the reference year 2027 (reporting in 2028):
  • listed SMEs
  • small, non-complex credit institutions
  • captive insurance companies
From reference year 2028 (reporting in 2029):
  • non-European companies
    • with a turnover of €150 million on European territory
    • or a listed European subsidiary
